We are located in the National Historic District of the oldest town in the Louisiana Purchase. Make plans to visit during our fall tour of homes or the famous Christmas Festival and enjoy our beautiful city.
Cane River Lake, once the Red River, runs the entire length of downtown. Churches and buildings from the mid-19th century line quaint French-named streets including Front Street which is layed with brick.
The world famous Christmas Festival includes hundreds of thousands of lights that line the edge of Cane River. The festival is ranked as one of the nation's top 25 family events.
